Collection Relocation
Fort George G. Meade Museum
ELY, Inc. packed and crated on site at Fort Meade for 3 weeks in preparation for relocation of the collection into off site storage. The collection consisted of over 24,000 artifacts and documents that were being moved during museum renovation. Ely, Inc. also designed packing systems and mounts that functioned for both transit and storage. During packing and transit, Ely, Inc. provided inventory control and maintained the same level of control as pieces arrived at the storage facility.
