MOUNT DESIGN, FABRICATION & INSTALLATION

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

ELY has designed mounts for objects ranging from a single pearl to a life sized space ship model. Mounts are custom made for each artifact by our exacting mount makers, working from the initial patterning to the faux painting and installation. The final product is a mount that disappears, displaying the object safely and aesthetically. Ely, Inc. designs, fabricates and installs custom mounts for art, artifacts, books and textiles with the security and safety of each object a primary objective. Mounts are fabricated from Plexiglas, stainless steel, brass, steel and a wide variety of conservation approved materials. ELY, Inc.also designed an innovative system that allows fragile books and manuscripts to be measured for their mounts while minimizing their handling during this process.
